I had sold my house in CA and had a few weeks before my next place was ready, so I drove my ten year old car to Phoenix to stay with my stepdad and go through some of my mother's things (she recently passed). It was time to get a new car and I thought I would do some research while there, since he could go with me. We had gone to a few dealerships and were told the same thing: there's a massive car shortage. We stopped at Superstition Springs Lexus and was practically laughed out the door. The salesman did not even make an attempt to check inventory, or cars in transit, and decided not to even try to be helpful when he learned I lived in CA and would be heading back in a few weeks. My late mother has a Lexus and it was her prized possession. She would take it to Arrowhead for car washes and my stepdad suggested we ask them about cars and see if we get the same response. That's when we met Fran. Fran not only showed us what was available, she took me to their loaner car area to sit in different ones to see which I would like best. She sat down and checked her transit list and what they had in stock. She consulted with her boss for me, and they offered to sell me one of their loaner vehicles. It was exactly what I wanted down to the color. They verified it, washed it, gassed it up, and it was mine! Fran went above and beyond to help me, and threw in a sweet gift. They bought my car from me at the rate they quoted initially even though *the day I took it in to them the check engine light came on* (of course my luck). She has checked on me since and I felt like a member of the family there :) can't recommend enough! I only wish my mom was there to see it.
